PMLD Teaching Assistant Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PMLD Teaching Assistant to join our team at a specialist SEN school in Feltham, Southwest London.

About the Role

As a PMLD Teaching Assistant, you will be working with primary-aged students who have severe or profound and multiple learning difficulties, including some with a secondary diagnosis of ASD. You will be supporting these students in a specialist education setting, providing individualized support and care to help them reach their full potential.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in a SEN setting, particularly in a PMLD school or with students with complex needs. You will be able to demonstrate a deep understanding of the needs of students with PMLD and ASD, and be able to provide a high level of support and care.

About the School

Our school is a 198-pupil SEN school that provides specialist education to primary-aged children with PMLD (and ASD in some cases). We are rated 'Good' with OFSTED and are located in the Feltham area of Southwest London, close to a train station for easy access by public transport.
