About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Timber Frame Erector to join our team at Vistry Group. As a key member of our timber frame manufacturing operation, you will be responsible for installing timber frame superstructures in line with our business plan and adhering to our group's health and safety policy, values, culture, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install timber frame structures in accordance with designs, specifications, and installation manuals.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the timber frame installation supervisor to achieve project goals.
  • Participate in quality control processes to ensure high-quality workmanship.
  • Communicate effectively with relevant departments to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Experience in carpentry or construction, preferably with a focus on timber frame installation.
  • Ability to read and understand assembly drawings and installation manuals.
  • Practical experience with hand tools and equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Slinger/Signaller certification.
  • STA (Bronze Standard) certification.
  • CSCS Card (Trade Level) certification.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Manual Handling certification.
  • Temporary Works certification.
  • Fire Stopping certification.
