About the Role:

The Cadogan, A Belmond Hotel, is seeking a skilled and passionate CDP Pastry Specialist to join our culinary team. As a key member of our pastry department, you will be responsible for creating and preparing a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods that exceed our guests' expectations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare a range of pastries, desserts, and baked goods that meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Follow recipes and instructions provided by our Head of Pastry to ensure consistency and excellence in our pastry offerings.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to our hotel's high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen team members to coordinate food preparation and service, ensuring seamless execution of our culinary offerings.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-end restaurant or hotel.
  • Degree or diploma in pastry or culinary arts is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of pastry techniques, ingredients, and recipes.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce consistent and beautiful pastries.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must have strong bakery skills and ability to work very early shifts.
