About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Data Strategy and Governance specialist to join our team at Change Digital - Digital & Tech Recruitment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data strategy and governance, with experience in delivering data quality rules, defining and cataloguing critical data elements, and ensuring compliance with key policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement data strategy and governance frameworks to ensure data quality and compliance.
  • Define and catalog critical data elements, including authoritative data sources and business definitions.
  • Deliver projects to ensure compliance with key policies and standards, such as BCBS and GDPR.
  • Profile data using existing data quality rules to analyze historical data and determine its accuracy.
  • Utilize data strategy and governance tools, such as Purview, Informatica, and Collibra.
  • Apply proven delivery methodologies, frameworks, and best practices to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Develop and maintain advanced working knowledge of SQL and relational databases, as well as NoSQL databases and cloud-based data platforms.
  • Provide technical business analysis and support to stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and developments.
