Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and Innovate: Oversee a team of 50 Data Governance Professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and data innovation across our global operations.
  • Operational Excellence: Implement and refine global operating models for efficient data management and governance, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Strategic Partnership: Serve as the key liaison between business stakeholders and data teams, ensuring that data strategies are aligned with business objectives.

Challenges You'll Tackle:

  • Scalability and Integration: Ensure that our systems can scale effectively while maintaining performance and reliability as we expand our data management capabilities.
  • Global Data Governance: Implement a unified data governance framework that meets both global consistency and local compliance requirements.

What You Bring:

  • Industry Expertise: A deep understanding of Asset Management, including knowledge of financial data products, indices, and investment vehicles.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: You excel in engaging, influencing, and collaborating with senior business stakeholders, including C-level executives, to drive consensus and action.

Core Requirements:

  • Data Standards & Quality: Define and implement data standards, improve processes, and enhance data quality across the organization.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience with data architectures such as data warehouses, data lakes, and both on-premises and cloud-based data solutions.
  • Visualization & Reporting: Utilize data visualization tools to improve enterprise reporting capabilities, enabling better decision-making.
  • Project Leadership: Lead system developments, enhancements, or implementations with a focus on data replatforming and cloud integration.
  • Regulatory Compliance: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and best practices in investment data management.
