Job Title: Apprentice District Nurse

We are seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join our team as an Apprentice District Nurse. This role will provide care to patients within a range of settings, including patients' own homes and residential care homes.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Support patients in their own homes, including residential care homes, to deliver high-quality care.
  • Work autonomously to provide a whole person approach to the care and management of patients within this setting.
  • Link closely with the local authority and other specialist nursing teams to provide individualized and holistic care.

  • Palliative and End of Life Care
  • Wound care
  • Diabetes management
  • Continence management
Requirements:
  • RGN qualification
  • Current community nursing experience
  • Use of SystmOne
Disclosure and Barring Service Check:

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 a year pro rata, per annum.
