Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Estates Maintenance Specialist to join our team at York Teaching Hospital Facilities Management (LLP). The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across our estates, ensuring a high standard of quality and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a flexible and efficient repair and maintenance service across a wide range of services, mechanical plant, and equipment.
  • Take responsibility for statutory inspections under delegated areas and maintain records to ensure compliance with current legislation.
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team or on your own initiative to deliver a responsive, efficient, and financially effective maintenance service.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and be prepared to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications, knowledge, training, and experience:

  • ONC/HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
  • BTech, City & Guilds, or NVQ3 in electrical or engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years post-apprenticeship experience.
  • Current valid UK driving license.
  • Technical knowledge across all disciplines.
  • Testing and maintenance procedures for electrical and mechanical services and equipment.
