About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Events and Sponsorship Manager to join our team at Markel International Services Ltd. As a key member of our Brand Engagement and Communications team, you will be responsible for planning and executing international events and sponsorships that align with our company's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and execution of international events, including high-profile sponsorships and employee engagement events.
  • Develop and implement event strategies that meet business objectives and enhance the company's brand reputation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless event execution and effective communication.
  • Manage event budgets, vendors, and logistics to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Provide regular event reporting and evaluation to inform future event strategies.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in event management, with a track record of planning and executing successful events.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and travel.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Experience with event management software and tools, such as Hive workflow tool.
