Job Description

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our SEND curriculum across all campuses. As Group Curriculum Director SEND, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of inclusive education for over 500 SEND learners, including adults.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of the SEND curriculum, ensuring it meets the needs of learners and aligns with the College's strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Supported Learning team to provide individualized support to learners, academically and from a support perspective.
  • Develop and manage budgets to drive the vision of becoming the largest high needs provision in the country.
  • Strategic planning and delivery of the curriculum across all campuses, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Deputise for the Deputy Principal as required, providing leadership and support to the team.
  • Initiate and participate in schemes to generate funds from external sources, managing such schemes where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in leading curriculum development and implementation.
  • Experience in managing budgets and driving strategic planning.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Passion for inclusive education and commitment to delivering high-quality learning experiences.
