We are proud to be working with Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council on an exclusive basis for the recruitment into their legal team. We are looking for a Projects Lawyer to join the team at a really exciting time, with various major projects coming up in the region for the successful candidate to get involved in.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects, including the Glassworks, Alhambra, and the Tour of Britain. They will be responsible for providing support and oversight on major projects of strategic importance, attending project board meetings, and drafting and reviewing construction contracts, such as JCT and NEC.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction law, with experience in drafting and reviewing development agreements, framework agreements, and bespoke standard terms and conditions. They will also have experience in advising on consultancy agreements, professional service agreements, grant agreements, collateral warranties, PCGS, bonds, and collaboration agreements.

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with a strong track record of success in a similar role. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and project management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
