Senior Contracts Lawyer Opportunity

Barnsley Metropolitan Borough Council is seeking a highly skilled Senior Contracts Lawyer to join their growing legal team. This award-winning local authority offers a diverse range of work, flexibility, benefits, and culture.

About the Role:

This senior position will provide the opportunity to continue professional development within a large Commercial team, getting involved with interesting projects, procurement, and contributing to the development of leading practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Directly line managing 1 Contracts Lawyer and 1 Legal Assistant.
  • Drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
  • Advising on complex/multi-million pound projects.
