Mechanical Design Engineer

Babcock International Group is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team in Rosyth, Fife. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of mechanical systems for our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop mechanical systems, including piping and piping components, pressure vessels, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet customer requirements and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain technical datasheets, material lists, calculations, and engineering reports.
- Review and check of piping isometrics, system drawings, and bill of materials.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Proven relevant experience in mechanical design and development.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and MathCAD.
- Experience working to design codes ASME VIII, ASTM, BS, and EN.
