Mechanical Design Engineer

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer to join our team at Babcock International Group. As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing mechanical systems for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems, including piping and piping components, pressure vessels, and hydraulic systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design solutions meet client requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical datasheets, material lists, calculations, and engineering reports.
- Review and check piping isometrics, system drawings, and bill of materials.
Requirements
- Experience in mechanical design, preferably in a regulated industry.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and MathCAD.
- Proven track record of delivering design solutions.
- Experience working with design codes ASME VIII, ASTM, BS, and EN.
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
