About the Role
We are seeking skilled and dedicated Social Workers to join our team at Derby City Council. As a Social Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting children and families in need, working closely with our Strength Based Practice Model to identify risks and develop effective plans to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete Single Assessments and S47 enquiries to identify the needs of children and families
- Develop and implement Child In Need Plans to support vulnerable children and families
- Work with children and families at Child Protection and Care Proceedings, and support Looked After Children
- Participate in regular supervision, peer support, and continuing professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge
