Job Opportunity: Associate Head of School and Training Programme Director

The South East Schools of Public Health are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Associate Head of School and Training Programme Director. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of public health training, education, and development programmes in the Wessex region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Wessex School of Public Health and its programmes, working closely with the South East Head of School.
  • Develop and implement training programmes for public health professionals, ensuring they have the necessary knowledge, skills, and values to deliver high-quality care.
  • Collaborate with NHS England to achieve the organisation's purpose of delivering high-quality services for all, reducing health inequalities, and making the NHS a great place to work.
  • Optimise the use of digital technology, research, and innovation to support public health workforce development.

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience and knowledge of the Educational Supervisor role.
  • Good understanding of wider public health workforce development programmes operating in Wessex.
  • Ability to lead and manage teams, develop training programmes, and collaborate with stakeholders.
