Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join our team at Contechs, a leading Automotive, Design, Engineering, Technology and Innovation Recruitment Consultancy. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for explaining automotive repairs and issues to customers, providing exceptional customer service, and participating in in-house and manufacturer-based training.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain complex automotive repairs and issues to customers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Participate in in-house and manufacturer-based training to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Hold a valid UK manual driving license with no more than 3 points.
  • Be flexible and willing to learn and adapt to new responsibilities.
  • MOT tester ideal, but not essential.
Requirements
  • NVQ/City & Guilds certifications required (Equivalent certifications can be accepted to a level 3 standard).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and overtime.
