Position Overview

The Talent Locker is seeking an **IT Technician** to provide exceptional technical support and implement innovative technology solutions.

In this role, you will be part of a vibrant environment where you will assist in maintaining and troubleshooting a variety of IT systems, including **WAN/LAN**, **Microsoft Office**, and **Windows** platforms, while adhering to **ITIL** best practices.

This position is based on-site, offering access to various amenities such as a gym and swimming pool. The benefits package includes **25 days of annual leave** and may require occasional weekend or evening hours based on operational needs.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring the seamless operation of desktops, laptops, tablets, and smart devices used by staff and students.
  • Monitoring the IT service desk and resolving technical issues efficiently.
  • Managing change requests and providing necessary training and support.
  • Overseeing the IT Change Management process and maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Supporting compliance assessments and managing service capacity and availability.
  • Maintaining the IT asset inventory and tracking **Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)** for continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar technical support role, such as **2nd line support**, **field technician**, or **IT support analyst**. A degree in computer systems or a related field is preferred, along with several years of experience in ITIL-based support.

Certifications such as **MIEE** and **MCE** are advantageous, though they can be pursued post-hire. Familiarity with service desk operations and remote assistance tools, as well as skills in **Windows desktop administration**, **LAN/WAN maintenance**, and **IT security**, are essential for success in this position.
