This role is crucial in ensuring brand integrity and precise color application while adhering to all packaging technical specifications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The responsibilities of the Production Artist include:

  • Creating print-ready artwork based on design files, corporate standards, and project briefs.
  • Following a comprehensive artwork checklist to guarantee the highest quality standards.
  • Exhibiting strong brand and design awareness, providing support to the creative design team in upholding brand consistency.
  • Producing technically accurate artwork suitable for automated reproduction, considering all packaging elements such as colors, varnishes, and printer specifications.
  • Collaborating with the Studio Manager, internal creative team, QA, and Pre-production to ensure uniformity across all artwork produced.
  • Staying informed about all master guidelines relevant to assigned clients, ensuring consistency across product ranges.
  • Meeting all deadlines set by the Production Manager for assigned projects.
  • Demonstrating proficiency in all necessary software and effectively utilizing the Management Information System (MIS) and other required tools.
  • Actively engaging with the studio team, fostering effective communication, and striving for a right-first-time approach.
  • Participating in internal meetings and collaborating with the Project Manager to relay pertinent information to the production team.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

Applicants should possess:

  • Prior experience as a packaging designer or artwork specialist.
  • Exceptional illustration skills.
  • The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities.
  • Confidence in handling diverse briefs and resolving challenges.
  • A keen eye for accuracy and detail.
