You will work closely with our Animation team Lead and Animation Director to ensure that all animation meets the highest standards. If you have a passion for animation and are looking for a challenging and rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. We offer flexible, hybrid, and remote working options, and the successful candidate must be based in the UK. Key responsibilities include:

* Completing main storytelling poses as a 2D Animator
* Working with the storyboard to complete animation for assigned sequences
* Positioning characters and props in key poses for animating
* Creating breakdown drawings and adding in-betweens
* Animating additional settles and follow-through
* Finalizing animation, including clean-up and color

Requirements include:

* Animation and acting skills, combined with a good sense of graphic design
* Good working knowledge of relevant graphics, animation, cut out animation, and compositing software, including Toon Boom
* Good understanding of the principles of animation and film-making
* Knowledge of drawing and structure
* Ability to manage relevant aspects of production
* Self-motivation
* Ability to take direction and address constructive feedback
* Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues
* Ability to work collaboratively and independently
* Appreciation of accuracy and attention to detail
* Ability to deliver on schedule, working calmly and efficiently under pressure

Bonus points for knowledge and skills in traditional hand-drawn animation to support the cut out animation workflow.
