The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Property Services to lead and manage our extensive property portfolio across the Western region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the effective maintenance and improvement of our housing stock, aligning with our overall objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a large multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Budget Management: Oversee and control the regional repairs and maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
  • Operational Excellence: Ensure all property services operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, contractors, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
  • Innovation: Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices to improve property services and resident satisfaction.

About You:

  • Experience: Substantial senior leadership experience in property services management, preferably within the affordable housing sector or a similarly complex environment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop large teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong experience in managing large-scale budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
  • Strategic Thinking: Demonstrated capability in developing and executing strategic plans and driving organizational change.
  • Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Knowledge: Deep understanding of property maintenance, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards working with UK registered providers of affordable housing.
  • Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualification in property management, construction, business administration, or a related field.
