The Role:We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Property Services to lead and manage our property portfolio across the UK. Reporting directly to the Managing Director of Property Services, you will oversee a dedicated team of professionals and manage an annual budget exceeding £50 million.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure the effective maintenance and improvement of our housing stock, aligning with the organisation's overall objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and inspire a large multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Budget Management: Oversee and control the regional repairs and maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money while maintaining high-quality service delivery.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure all property services operations are executed efficiently, safely, and in compliance with all relevant legislation and standards.
- Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including residents, contractors, local authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Performance Monitoring: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess and enhance service delivery and operational effectiveness.
- Innovation: Identify and implement innovative solutions and best practices to improve property services and resident satisfaction.
- Experience: Substantial senior leadership experience in property services management, preferably within the affordable housing sector or a similarly complex environment.
- Financial Acumen: Strong experience in managing large-scale budgets and delivering cost-effective solutions without compromising on quality.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional skills in building and maintaining effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of property maintenance, health and safety regulations, and compliance standards working with UK registered providers of affordable housing.
- Qualifications: Relevant degree or professional qualification in property management, construction, business administration, or a related field.
