Job Title: Statutory Returns Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Statutory Returns Manager to lead our operational engagement with Higher Education Statistics Agency (HESA) and drive the continual improvement of our statutory reporting process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end process of accurate and timely student data returns to HESA and OFS
  • Develop and implement a systematic approach to data analysis and reporting
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective data governance and compliance
  • Lead the implementation of HESA Data Futures and other regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships with data owners and stakeholders to ensure data quality and accuracy

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience in managing regulatory reporting of student data to HESA and OFS
  • Strong data analysis skills and ability to handle large volumes of data systematically
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Experience working with Unit-E as a student record system and TDAPS

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of £48,000 - £54,000
  • A comprehensive benefits package including 3% employer contribution and 5% employee contribution
  • 25 days annual leave plus University's closure days and public holidays
