Job Opportunity for Consultant Psychiatrist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Jupiter Recruitment. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment, providing high-quality care to patients with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take clinical responsibility for patients, including multidisciplinary ward rounds, risk reviews, and strategic reviews.
  • Act as the Responsible Clinician for patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
  • Contribute to the multidisciplinary team in assessing, formulating, and treating patients.
  • Participate in management meetings and clinical governance meetings to develop service strategy.
  • Offer supervision to junior medical staff and contribute to in-house training programs.
Requirements:
  • Full GMC Registration.
  • Experience in a management role as a Consultant Psychiatrist.
  • Knowledge of current developments in psychiatry and mental health.
  • Ability to initiate corporate decisions and contribute to change management.
