We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Elysium Healthcare. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and managing a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans in conjunction with the multidisciplinary team
  • Conducting assessments and investigations to determine patient suitability for admission
  • Participating in ward rounds, clinical audit, and quality improvement work
  • Chairing and overseeing Care Programme Approach (CPA) reviews

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Full GMC registration
  • MRCPsych or equivalent
  • Experience in forensic psychiatry or general psychiatry with forensic experience
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
