About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team at Capgemini Engineering. As a key member of our Global Programme Office, you will be responsible for delivering projects that drive innovation and growth in the Defence sector.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Bid Management: Lead the bid process, including proposal development and submission.
  • Project Planning: Create and manage project plans, including resource allocation and scheduling.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor project progress and provide regular reports to stakeholders.
  • Revenue Management: Ensure accurate revenue recognition and management.
  • Profitability: Drive project profitability through effective cost management and margin improvement.
  • Productivity: Optimize project workflows and processes to improve productivity.
  • Forecasting and Project Finances: Develop and manage project budgets and forecasts.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Quality Control: Ensure high-quality project deliverables.
  • Continuous Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes.
  • Problem Resolution: Resolve project-related issues and concerns.
  • Resource Allocation: Manage project resources effectively.
  • Client Satisfaction: Ensure client satisfaction through excellent service and support.

Requirements

  • Experience: 5 years' experience in project and programme management, with a proven track record of delivering Defence projects.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with experience of leading complex, multi-functional teams.
  • Security Clearance: Ability to gain SC Clearance.
  • Skills: Proficient in project finances, revenue recognition, margin improvement, risk management, and month-end reporting.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, business, or project management.
