Site Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Build Team in Glasgow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and direct sub-contractor partners to deliver work packages such as groundworks, drainage, and utility installation.
  • Assess delivery of work packages against programme, design drawings, and quality standards.
  • Review Risk Assessments and Method Statements from sub-contractors to ensure safe and appropriate working methods.
  • Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions to ensure compliance with Kier standards.
  • Coordinate site logistics, movement of plant and labour, and ensure safety is maintained.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Construction Qualification (HND/ Degree / SVQ) or Technical Trade.
  • SMSTS 5 Day Certificate.
  • CSCS Card.
  • First Aid.
  • General IT literacy – able to use software such as Procore/ Snagmaster or similar.
