About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to join our Digital Infrastructure team at Galliford Try Group. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of construction projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of site teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to meet client requirements.
  • Monitor and control project costs, ensuring that they are within budget and that any variances are reported and addressed promptly.
  • Ensure that all site activities are carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and that any issues are resolved promptly.
  • Manage and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure that they are delivering high-quality work and meeting project deadlines.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering construction projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and site teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces, with a willingness to travel to site locations as required.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and company policies, with a commitment to ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
