About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Unit Manager to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a Unit Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our catering and service teams, ensuring that we deliver exceptional food and customer service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage teams to ensure seamless delivery of food and customer service
  • Oversee the efficiency of all in-unit operations, including inventory management, budget monitoring, and implementing action plans
  • Communicate regularly with line managers to monitor KPIs and targets
  • Represent Compass Group UK&I and maintain a positive brand image
  • Identify opportunities for new service concepts to drive sales
  • Liaise between customers and internal teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Support and train teams to excel in their roles
  • Implement and review Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of management experience within a similar sector or industry
  • Experience managing teams in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Brilliant financial acumen
  • Ambitious and motivated individual who is always looking to upskill
