Job Summary

The Design Manager will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of a large-scale industrial project. This will involve managing and coordinating the design process from inception through to completion, ensuring alignment with project goals, budget, and timelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design process, collaborating closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to develop and refine design solutions that meet client requirements
  • Manage design reviews, ensuring that design documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and well-coordinated with site operations
  • Identify and resolve design issues when they arise, maintaining strong communication with the project team and client
  • Develop and implement design strategies that meet project goals and objectives
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards


Requirements

  • Experience as a Design Manager, ideally working within a Tier 1 contracting environment
  • Strong understanding of design processes, construction techniques, and industry regulations
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong planning and problem-solving ability
