Role Overview:

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong leadership qualities, with a solid history of pinpointing areas for enhancement, crafting business proposals, and effectively executing change through adept project management.

Proven experience in applying manufacturing excellence methodologies, including 5S and Lean Six Sigma, is essential.

The successful applicant will possess the ability to analyze and interpret various data sources to uncover inefficiencies, identify cost-saving measures, and recognize trends, alongside a fundamental understanding of financial principles and business operations.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Make strategic decisions regarding the acquisition or leasing of essential equipment.
  • Implement Lean methodologies in daily tasks, including PFEP, value stream mapping, and engineering assessments.
  • Drive proactive enhancements in onsite operations to achieve reductions in costs, time, and waste.
  • Oversee engineering projects, managing budgets, processes, and equipment.
  • Analyze workforce data to assess its impact on operations and develop improvement strategies.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects, focusing on system enhancements and spatial optimization for future growth.
  • Collaborate with various teams, including operations, account management, and project management, to implement effective solutions.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with customers, stakeholders, and operational personnel.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Extensive optimization experience in logistics, automotive, or manufacturing sectors.
  • A minimum of 3 years in a comparable position.
  • Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies is highly desirable.
  • NEBOSH certification is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and present actionable insights.
  • Advanced IT proficiency, including Microsoft applications, SAP, and project management tools.
  • Familiarity with supply chain software such as WMS, TMS, OMS, and SCM is advantageous.
