Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our dynamic EWMHS team in Redbridge. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality psychological services to children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems, their carers/parents and families.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions to children and adolescents, as well as their carers/parents and families.
- Work collaboratively with other professionals, including medical staff, social workers and teachers, to provide comprehensive care to children and adolescents.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to the care of children and adolescents with emotional and mental health problems.
- Participate in audit and research activities to improve the quality of care provided to children and adolescents.
- Eligibility for registration as a full member of the appropriate professional body (HCPC, BACP, UKCP, AFT, ACP).
- Postgraduate training in psychological practice (art psychotherapist, psychologist, family therapist, child and adolescent psychotherapist).
- Extensive experience of working with difficult, disturbed or challenging children/young people requiring skilled and complex interventions.
- Experience of carrying out generic assessment with other colleagues in the multi-disciplinary team.
- High level knowledge of the theory and practice of short term and long term in clinical interventions in CAMHS/EWMHS.
- Knowledge of legislation in relation to children and adolescents and safeguarding procedures and policies.
