Join Demelza's HR Team as a Strategic HR Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative HR professional to lead our HR team and contribute to Demelza's future success. As a Strategic HR Leader, you will play a key role in shaping and implementing our HR strategy, aligned to our values and goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic HR Partner - Work closely with all areas of Demelza to deliver high-quality strategic and operational support, driving performance and achieving our objectives.
  • Champion FREDIE Principles and Employee Wellbeing - Foster an inclusive and engaged work environment where everyone feels able to contribute and develop.
  • Lead Safer Recruitment Practices and Resourcing - Provide guidance and support to attract and retain talented people, contributing to our workforce strategy and development.
  • Handle Employee Relations Professionally - Provide expert guidance on a range of matters, ensuring cases are handled with sensitivity, pragmatism, and a person-centric approach.
  • Provide Professional Leadership, Support, and Development of the HR Team - Ensure all HR activities are delivered within budget.
  • Support Pay Review Processes - Provide guidance and input to ensure equity and fairness across all roles.
  • Develop Effective Employment Policies and Procedures - Comply with legislation and reflect our organisational values.
  • Drive Improvement - Leverage digital solutions and streamline processes to develop policies, procedures, and processes.

Qualifications:

  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience in a similar senior HR role.
  • Ability to see wider organisational impacts or HR practices and decisions.
  • Excellent IT skills and willingness to embrace digital developments to streamline HR processes where possible.
