About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Head of HR with a specialization in recruitment to join our team and spearhead talent acquisition efforts that align with our ambitious expansion goals. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the UK employment market, especially within the insulation, construction, and energy efficiency sectors.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the full recruitment lifecycle for a variety of roles, from operational staff to senior leadership positions, with a focus on niche roles in insulation, energy efficiency, and construction.
- Develop and execute a recruitment strategy that attracts top talent in the insulation and retrofitting industries.
- Oversee talent acquisition processes, including job postings, candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
- Build strong relationships with industry-specific recruitment partners, professional networks, and educational institutions to create a talent pipeline.
- Ensure compliance with UK employment laws and regulations, including diversity and inclusion best practices.
- Collaborate with department heads to anticipate workforce needs and drive recruitment plans that align with company growth.
- Utilize HR data analytics to measure recruitment success and continually optimize talent acquisition strategies.
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a strong focus on recruitment and talent acquisition in the UK market.
- Proven track record of leading recruitment efforts for technical roles, including construction managers, project managers, and specialists.
- Thorough understanding of UK employment laws and recruitment regulations.
- Strong knowledge of industry-specific recruitment channels, including job boards, networking groups, and recruitment agencies.
- Experience with recruitment marketing, employer branding, and employee value proposition (EVP) development.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with senior management.
- Data-driven approach to recruitment, with the ability to analyze recruitment metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Familiarity with HR software.
- CIPD certification or equivalent in Human Resources.
