About the Role

We are seeking two Regulatory Compliance Leads to join our Risk Compliance team within the 2nd line Risk Function. In this role, you will collaborate closely with a Senior Compliance Lead to ensure effective compliance oversight across the organization. The responsibilities are diverse, encompassing regulatory compliance with financial authorities and data protection, as well as managing processes related to senior management accountability and risk assessment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Offer expert guidance on compliance with consumer regulatory frameworks relevant to the banking sector, including financial authority regulations and data protection laws.
  • Foster strong relationships with stakeholders to promote compliance awareness throughout the organization.
  • Conduct thorough and ongoing oversight to support the organization’s adherence to regulations, providing insights to management through risk assessments.
  • Prepare reports on compliance risks and contribute to committee documentation.

Required Qualifications

  • In-depth knowledge of consumer regulations applicable to retail banking.
  • Ability to apply this knowledge to deliver practical insights and oversight, with an understanding of the operations of credit cards, loans, and savings products.
  • Strong listening and influencing abilities, enabling the establishment of effective relationships with business stakeholders while providing practical regulatory compliance advice.
  • Proficient report writing skills, capable of conveying key messages in board and oversight documentation.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
