Regulatory Compliance Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Regulatory Compliance Officer to join our growing Regulatory Solutions team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and leading all aspects of BlackRock's regulatory processes.
The Regulatory Operations team is responsible for owning many of BlackRock's most sophisticated and critical regulatory reporting processes. We act as the translation layer between Legal & Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams, providing opportunities for growth and development.
As a Regulatory Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for:
- Identifying and assessing processes across BlackRock that can potentially transition into Regulatory Solutions.
- Working in the Implementation Team with a focus on change management.
- Enhancing the production and quality control of data for BlackRock's cost calculation process, which feeds into mandatory regulatory and industry standard reporting covering global jurisdictions.
Responsibilities
- Perform risk assessments of processes proposed for Regulatory Solutions.
- Partner with stakeholders to identify potential processes for Regulatory Solutions.
- Develop project plans, including timelines, roles, and responsibilities.
- Communicate key aspects of the implementation with the wider team and senior Regulatory Solutions Management.
- Transition functions into Regulatory Solutions Controls and ensure stability.
- Work with technology and business team partners to support key development objectives.
- Operational experience preferred within a financial reporting or regulatory environment.
- Ability to work effectively to plan and prioritize responsibilities, including ongoing and ad-hoc projects.
- Technical proficiency in navigating in-house applications, strong Excel skills, and preferred SQL skills and/or automation experience.
