Job Description

Job Title: Care Team Leader

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Care Team Leader to join our team at Bothwell Castle Care Home. As a Care Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care and support to our residents, while also leading and motivating our care team to deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide excellent care and support to residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
  • Lead and motivate the care team to deliver high-quality care, ensuring high standards are always maintained.
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of care assistants, ensuring efficient and effective care delivery.
  • Assist residents with all aspects of their care needs, including administering medication and monitoring their wellbeing.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring resident-centered care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance care delivery.

Requirements:

  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.
  • Experience in a care leadership role, preferably in a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including night shifts and weekends.
  • Knowledge of care standards and regulations, with the ability to ensure compliance.
