The Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Social Care Manager to join our team as a Branch Leader. As a key member of our Senior Leadership Team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery and implementation of our Strategic Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide effective leadership to your branch, ensuring it meets organisational Key Performance and quality Indicators.
- Work closely with the branch team of Service Leads, Lead Practitioners, and frontline colleagues to deliver excellent care and support.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to maximise local opportunities and collaborative working partnerships with HSCP's, housing associations, and other Multi-Disciplinary Teams.
- Oversee tenancy-related matters and be the first point of contact for referrals.
- Ensure the delivery of excellent care in line with our organisational values and standards.
Requirements
- Experience of working in health and social care.
- Experience of running a local health and social care business, branch, or division.
- Understanding of empowerment and coaching versus management and supervision.
- Understanding of developing an empowered workforce.
- Sound business skills, including planning, tender writing, analysis, and reporting, networking, and income generation.
- Experience of attracting new customers, securing new contracts, and successful bid-writing and presentation.
- Knowledge of the political and strategic environment as it relates to social care.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrable experience of good financial management.
- Understanding of relevant statutory regulations and good practice.
Desirable Qualifications
- SVQ Level 8/9 in a relevant discipline or equivalent management qualification.
