Cornerstone, one of Scotland's largest charities, is seeking a motivated and experienced social care manager to join our team as a Branch Leader covering Glasgow & East Dunbartonshire on a full-time, permanent basis.

About the Role

We are looking for an individual with a wealth of experience in health & social care who is eager to take on a leadership role. As a Branch Leader, you will be responsible for managing a local health & social care business, branch or division, and will have the opportunity to develop an empowered workforce.

Key Responsibilities

  • Experience of working in health & social care
  • Experience of running a local health & social care business, branch or division
  • Understanding of empowerment and coaching versus management and supervision
  • Understanding of developing an empowered workforce
  • Sound business skills such as planning, tender writing, analysis and reporting, networking and income generation
  • Experience of attracting new customers, securing new contracts and successful bid-writing and presentation
  • Knowledge of the political and strategic environment as it relates to social care
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrable experience of good financial management
  • Understanding of relevant statutory regulations and good practice

Desirable Qualifications

  • SQV Level 8/9 in a relevant discipline or equivalent management qualification
