Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative scientist to lead Real-World Evidence (RWE) initiatives for Lilly's neuroscience products. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in developing RWE strategies, research projects, and communication efforts that contribute to the advancement of patient care.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Development & Implementation: Drive the integration of RWE throughout drug development and commercialization processes. Develop comprehensive RWE research strategies for products within the neuroscience portfolio, collaborating with internal teams to formulate and execute effective RWE/HO strategies.
  • Study Design & Execution: Create impactful RWE studies that contribute to patient outcomes. Apply your expertise in statistical analysis, clinical trials, and other relevant areas to generate robust RWE/HO evidence for registration, pricing, and access purposes.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Establish strategic relationships with key decision-makers across the organization. Lead RWE evidence planning within cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with business partners and external stakeholders to achieve shared goals.
  • Information Dissemination: Communicate RWE/HO information clearly and concisely to diverse audiences. Lead research communication efforts through presentations, materials, and manuscripts, ensuring that research results are effectively translated and applied to enhance the impact of RWE/HO work.
  • Environmental Awareness & Innovation: Stay informed about advancements in disease states and RWE methodologies. Anticipate future market needs for RWE information and monitor factors influencing RWE research generation and utilization. Continuously explore innovative approaches to RWE within a dynamic environment.
  • Project Management: Ensure the timely and successful completion of RWE projects by coordinating research efforts with internal and external partners.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Doctorate or advanced degree with a demonstrated focus on outcomes strategies.
  • Proven track record of leading impactful RWE studies, showcasing your expertise in designing and applying advanced methods for RWE analysis.
  • Strong communication skills, enabling you to effectively translate complex information into clear and concise messages for various audiences.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within teams and foster a collaborative work environment.

Additional Preferences

  • Knowledge of healthcare systems in Europe and/or Asia.
  • Experience with health delivery models and clinical research methodologies.
  • Technical capabilities in RWE, outcomes analysis, epidemiology, and related fields.
  • Ability to think globally and provide innovative RWE approaches tailored to diverse markets.
  • Adaptability to dynamic environments and a willingness to embrace change.
