About the Role
The FOH Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing daily operations related to service, hospitality, food quality, guest satisfaction, and maintaining a pleasant environment for both guests and employees. This role reports to the Assistant General Manager and ensures a positive experience for visitors while managing financial aspects and overall operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure positive guest experiences and address issues promptly
- Communicate effectively with team members about promotions and company updates
- Identify areas for improvement and provide feedback on operations
- Participate in hiring, training, and financial management
- Stay updated on industry trends through regular trainings
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
- Mentor and support team members in their professional development
- Adhere to company policies and alcohol service regulations
- Uphold high standards for health, quality, and cleanliness
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts preferred
- 5 years of experience in food and beverage industry, including supervisory roles
- Strong understanding of hospitality and restaurant operations
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively in a team
- Familiarity with restaurant compliance requirements
- Skill in algebraic equations and POS systems
