About the Opportunity

The Sales Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the Sales Team in achieving business objectives. This is a permanent position that offers a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales Lead/Enquiry Processing: Respond to customer enquiries, process sales leads, and maintain accurate records.
  • Quotation Preparation: Produce cost estimates and quotations for customers using company systems.
  • Order Management: Enter and update customer orders, generate sales documents, and coordinate with internal departments to meet customer requests.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent service to customers, communicate effectively, and maintain customer files.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a thorough understanding of the company's products, processes, quality, and safety standards to effectively discuss enquiries and orders with customers and staff.
  • Problem Solving: Offer a practical approach to problem-solving and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
Requirements
  • Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a customer service or sales environment, with a strong customer focus.
  • Technical Skills: Strong PC skills, proficient in Microsoft Office packages, and ideally some knowledge of Syspro MRP system and Salesforce CRM system.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Analytical Skills: Displays an analytical and methodical approach to work.
