We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Children Assisted in a Real Environment Ltd. Our residential care home in East London provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health, and self-harming behaviors.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in key working sessions with children and young people to promote their well-being and development.
- Take part in the duty rota, including weekends and sleep-ins, to ensure the care and support of our residents.
- Assist in organizing and participating in various social, leisure, and other activities with the young people to promote their engagement and enjoyment.
- Work as a Key Worker to a child or children and develop and implement an agreed care plan to meet their individual needs.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with children and young people, or working towards.
- Previous experience working with EBD, mental health, and self-harm in residential children's homes, with a minimum of two years.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required.
We offer a competitive salary range from £25,000 to £30,000, depending on experience, with additional pay for sleep-ins. If you are a motivated and caring individual who is passionate about supporting vulnerable children and young people, we encourage you to apply for this rewarding role.
