Senior Residential Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at Children Assisted in a Real Environment Ltd. Our residential care home in East London provides a safe and supportive environment for children and young people with emotional and behavioural difficulties, mental health, and self-harming behaviors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in key working sessions with children and young people to promote their well-being and development.
  • Take part in the duty rota, including weekends and sleep-ins, to ensure the care and support of our residents.
  • Assist in organizing and participating in various social, leisure, and other activities with the young people to promote their engagement and enjoyment.
  • Work as a Key Worker to a child or children and develop and implement an agreed care plan to meet their individual needs.
Requirements:
  • A Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care with children and young people, or working towards.
  • Previous experience working with EBD, mental health, and self-harm in residential children's homes, with a minimum of two years.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins as required.
