Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, registered nurse to join the Bury District Nursing Service as a Tissue Viability Nurse in Bury Community Services, part of the Northern Care Alliance NHS Foundation Trust.
We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is passionate about wound care and quality improvement to provide specialist advice, support, and education to patients and staff in the community setting.
Main Duties of the JobThe successful candidate will provide expert advice and support to patients and staff in the Bury District Nursing Teams, supporting with the training of staff, patients, and carers in relation to tissue viability such as pressure ulcer prevention and management, surgical wounds, and leg ulcers.
The post holder will be part of the District Nursing and will support in maintaining standards of clinical care by working in close collaboration with other teams.

The successful candidate will be required to have a current NMC PIN to practice as an Registered Nurse or Midwife in the UK, or those who are currently enrolled on a course which means they expect to receive their full NMC PIN within the next 3 months.
