About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Diabetes Educator to join our team at Spirit Health Group Limited. As a Diabetes Educator, you will play a key role in delivering exceptional, structured diabetes education services to patients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver interactive structured diabetes education programmes in accordance with the set curriculum and lesson plan.
  • Use a range of sound teaching and learning techniques to improve participants' ability to self-manage their diabetes.
  • Ensure the course is delivered using the most up-to-date programme content.
  • Understand the administration and course organisation process undertaken by the administration team.
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed, including attendance sheets, quality of life questionnaires, goal setting and action plans, and satisfaction surveys.

Requirements

  • Experience of delivering health education.
  • Sound clinical knowledge and understanding of diabetes.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
