We are seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join our team at Academics. As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff, therapists, and support staff to deliver high-quality support to students with Autism, Speech & Language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the class teacher in providing a supportive learning environment for students
  • Provide behaviour and pastoral support to students
  • Work collaboratively with therapists to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture

Requirements:

  • Graduate or equivalent qualification in a relevant field
  • Experience working with students with Autism, Speech & Language needs
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
