We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Aspire People. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with children who require additional support in a primary school setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide one-to-one support to children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in a primary school setting.
- Assist children with their learning and development, ensuring they have access to the curriculum.
- Work closely with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) for children with SEN.
- Communicate effectively with children, teachers, and parents to ensure the child's needs are met.
- Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes the well-being and achievement of all children.
- Relevant qualifications or long-term experience working with children with SEN.
- SEN experience and knowledge of the EYFS to Y6 curriculum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Enhanced DBS check and references.
