Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Teaching Personnel.

Job Summary:

This is a temporary position with full-time hours, working within a school environment to provide support and assistance to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). The ideal candidate will have experience working with SEN students in an educational setting and possess good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement individualised learning plans and strategies as directed by the class teacher
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour support for SEN students
  • Support students with personal care needs if required
Requirements:
  • Experience working with SEN students in an educational setting
  • Good understanding of SEN strategies and interventions
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Additional training or qualifications in specific areas of SEN support
  • Experience working with a range of SEN conditions
Working Conditions:
  • Temporary position with full-time hours
  • Work within a school environment
  • May involve assisting with personal care needs of students

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please note that all pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
