Senior Estates Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Estates Officer (Mechanical) to join our Estates Management team at Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a proactive part in meeting the Trust's objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, while ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out AP duties in line with relevant appointment and HTM requirements.
- Support the Senior Estates Manager and deputise as required.
- Functional management of junior staff members.
- Responsible for training and mentoring of estates team members.
- Provide senior engineering support and act as a role model for other maintenance team members.
- Cross-site responsibilities in accordance with appointed AP functions.
- Med Gas/Mechanical.
- Responsible for specific oversight and completion of AP action logs.
- Technical support to projects.
- Provide technical reports and solutions.
- Regular engagement with the Authorising Engineer.

Person SpecificationEssential Qualifications:
- Foundation Degree/HND (level 5) in Engineering (Mechanical and/or Electrical) and willingness to work towards a recognized masters degree.
- Evidence of continuing Professional Development.
- CMI/ILM level 5 in leadership and management or evidence of demonstrable experience.
- Experience of managing a range of Estates services.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Registration with Professional Body.
- HTM knowledge of specialist systems.
- Management experience of a large multi-disciplinary team.
Essential Experience:
- Proven management skills and experience to control and promote teamwork within a multi-skilled team.
- Experience of managing and development of planned maintenance systems.
Desirable Experience:
- Experience in financial management of budgets.
