About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join our Group Finance team at our Head Office. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the Finance Team, developing and implementing financial strategies, and providing financial guidance to senior business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the Finance Team, including Management Accounts and Commercial Finance
  • Standardize and rationalize financial processes, ensuring they are documented and meet financial control requirements
  • Prepare monthly management accounts using SAP systems, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and ensure cost centre and GL posting accuracy
  • Provide financial planning and analysis support to department budget holders, highlighting potential cost saving opportunities
  • Feed into group consolidation of actuals, budget, and forecast
  • Oversee the purchase order process, associated training, policy, and approval matrix
  • Support the Group Financial Controller with ad-hoc duties as required
  • Continued development of finance staff and improvement of month-end controls to a SOX level
Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Technically strong with previous industry experience in a Group accounting function
  • Extensive experience in leadership and management, compliance, and audit management
  • Ability to build strong stakeholder relationships and experience in process mapping and improvements
  • Previous risk management experience and finance systems expertise
