About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Finance Manager to join our Head Office team at EG Group. As a key member of our finance function, you will play a crucial role in leading the Commercial Finance team and contributing to the company's growth and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets to inform business decisions and drive growth.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior management and the board, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
  • Financial Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams to drive business outcomes and communicate financial information effectively.
  • Leadership and Development: Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a financial management role, preferably in a retail or convenience industry.
  • Qualifications: Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or equivalent.
  • Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, financial modeling experience, and knowledge of SAP or similar systems.
  • Personal Qualities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proactive and results-driven approach.
